Chase Your Dream to the Skies with Pelican Flight Training
Not all dreams are meant to stay on the ground. For those who’ve always looked to the sky and wondered, “What if?”, Pelican Flight Training is where that question turns into a career.
Based in sunny South Florida, Pelican Flight Training offers international dreamers a unique opportunity: to turn a Private Pilot License (PPL) into a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and fly professionally—with full support, structured training, and a real pathway to the airlines.
You bring the dream—we’ll bring the runway.
Two Visa Paths. One Shared Destination: Success.
Whether you want to train and return home, or build hours and work toward an airline job in the U.S., Pelican provides two clear options for international students: the M1 Visa and the F1 Visa.
F1 Visa Program: Train and Build a Career
The F1 visa allows not only training but also the chance to work as a flight instructor after graduation—helping you build the required 1,500 flight hours needed by most airlines. You can apply for a work permit and social security number, making you eligible to work legally as a pilot in the U.S. and potentially get sponsored for airline type rating.
What’s Included:
- Instrument Rating (IR)
- Commercial License (CPL, SEL)
- Multi-Engine Add-on
- Certified Flight Instructor Ratings (CFI, CFII, MEI)
🚫 No upfront payment required—you pay only after your visa is approved and you arrive in the U.S.
M1 Visa Program: Focused Training Only
Perfect for those who want to complete training and return to their home country. No work permission post-training, but the same elite-level certifications and hands-on flight experience.
Who’s Eligible?
- ✔ Holders of a Private Pilot License (PPL)
- ✔ FAA Medical Certificate holders
- ✔ English-speaking applicants
- ✔ Driven, committed dream-chasers who are ready to put in the work
Real Flight, Real Transformation
Pelican Flight Training is about more than licenses. It’s about building character, confidence, and a career. Students train on modern aircraft (Cessna & Piper), fly in controlled airspace, and operate near Miami and Fort Lauderdale’s major airports. You’ll learn from seasoned professionals—former airline captains, military pilots, and FAA examiners—who will guide you from the first simulator to your final checkride.
And you’ll never be alone. From visa guidance to housing, from your first class to your first solo, Pelican is with you every step of the way.
